As with any other aspect to be planned for the big day, wedding cinematography can be a difficult thing to get right. Each couple will have a unique vision for their wedding day, completely special to them. Here at Pure White, we pride ourselves on capturing this vision, producing a film that will serve as an amazing memory.
We’re all extremely passionate about the pleasure a well-crafted, stylish video brings to a couple. We love getting awesome feedback from happy couples and it means the world to us. It’s why we do what we do!
SO HOW DO WE ENSURE WE NAIL IT EVERY TIME?
Well, first up we take time to completely understand the couple’s preferred style of film before shooting, including the length of edits, the choice of music and any particular style they’d like to achieve. We’ll also have a chat about the timings and logistics, so we know all of the big and little details going on throughout the day. Additionally, we use the latest technology, from cinematic HD cameras to camera cranes and sliders, ensuring that you’re getting the most filmic experience possible.
And we also think we are very good at what we do, having built up a lot of experience! What’s more, we guarantee to deliver all of this, while being as discreet as possible. We like to believe that the results speak for themselves – check out some examples of our work to find out exactly what we mean.
We’re a friendly bunch over here at Pure White. We all have a long history in TV and corporate work. Collectively we’ve gathered experience at organisations such as IMG, the BBC, Sky Sports, European Tour Productions, Ricochet and others.
Nick is the founder of Pure White and head cameraman/editor. After a long career with IMG in live sports broadcast, Nick turned his hand to corporate video production setting up Optrix Media, before then embracing wedding videography.
When not making wedding films, Nick likes to follow his passion for surfing, although it’s now taken a bit of a back seat to family life and living in London. Other hobbies include marathons, triathlons/unique challenges, golf and generally watching whichever sport is flavour of the month. Plus, he is of course very happily married too, which we think helps!
Having worked in the television industry for nearly 10 years, Helen has a wealth of knowledge and experience in video production and filmic creation. During her career, she has worked for some of the major players including CNN and Sky Sports as well as some smaller production companies. More recently she has turned her hand to creating stunning wedding videos, and being a true romantic, she can’t get enough of it!
When she’s not working, you’ll find Helen somewhere in the great outdoors – running, cycling, snowboarding, hiking – whatever it is, she’s usually got a big smile on her face!
Ben started his career with the BBC and has since been in the media industry for over 8 years. Moving from Commercial Rights at the BBC on to various production roles on TV programmes such as Dragons’ Den and Cowboy Builders, he then made the move into corporate work.
Like Nick, Ben is very sporty and has completed 4 marathons. He is now a bona fide member of the great team we have here at PW.
